
Graduation Requirements
1. Satisfactory entrance requirements.
2. Have an accumulated Grade Point Average of at least 75%.
3. Complete all academic courses designated.
4. Have financial obligations to Hollywood Barber College paid in full.
5. Satisfy all attendance requirements.
6. Pass final examination.
Rules and Regulations
Rules and regulations governing student conduct and attendance at Hollywood Barber College are listed below. Students failing to adhere to any rules and regulations set forth herein will be subject to appearance before the Board of Directors and Instructors. No students will be dismissed or expelled prior to fair evaluation of circumstances by the Board of Directors. These rules and regulations are also posted in the classroom. They are subject to change by the school administrator.
1. Students are to be on time and professionally dressed at all times.
2. There will be no profanity at any time.
3. Use of tobacco or beverages in any form while rendering services to any patron is prohibited.
4. Use of alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs, in any form, during school hours is prohibited. Any student found to be under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs during school hours will be suspended or permanently terminated.
5. Improper, illegal or indecent conduct, insubordination, willful destruction or defacing of school property and/or breach of the peace will be just cause for suspension and permanent termination.
6. If any question arises concerning a patron, the student will notify the instructor.
Leave of Absence
Students requesting a leave of absence must submit a completed and signed leave of absence form approved by an instructor. If a student re-enters training up to six months after initial start date, the student will be charged a new registration fee of $400. The fee for remaining hours will be determined at the time of re-registration. A leave of absence that is not approved may result in termination or additional re-registration costs or both.
Appearance and Grooming
1. Students are required to wear an approved smock.
2. No ragged or very short clothing will be allowed. You may be asked to go home and change if you are dressed in violation.
3. Due to the close contact students have with other people, daily bathing and use of deodorant is necessary.
4. For a professional image, all students must have their hair groomed and long hair should be pulled back off of the shoulders before class starts.

School Facilities
Hollywood Barber College is designed to facilitate and provide a comfortable learning environment. The Clinic Floor is well arranged for traffic flow and furnished a salon-type atmosphere to prepare the student for the professional work force. The school is dedicated to contemporary teaching, which offers the use of video equipment for extended instruction and review. The school has a ventilation system and provides central air and heating for a controlled atmosphere. The dispensary supplies the products for training purposes. There is a lounge which provides tables, chairs, a refrigerator and microwave. The school flooring is tiled and the front appearance has glass windows and doors. The school is a non-smoking establishment; however, smoking breaks are permitted outdoors. There is ample parking for students and clients.
Professional Behavior
1. Students must treat all property and equipment with respect.
2. Professionals sit in chairs properly with feet on the floor.
3. Students are expected to maintain a couteous and professional attitude with clients and other students. If a problem should arise, it should be brought to the attention of the instructor.
4. Students should not bring their personal problems to school. If a problem should arise and we can help, bring it to the instructor where it can be handled privately and in strict confidence.
5. Students are expected to follow and adhere to the Rules and Regulations of the shool.tudent who does not will be subject to termination.
6. If a student fails to follow the instructor's direction, the student will be asked to either clock out from the school immediately or possibly be suspended.
7. Any student guilty of willful destruction of school property will be subject to immediate dismissal.
8. Cheating on any class assignments or tests will be cause for suspension.
9. Other reasons for termination are as follows:
