New classes start the first Tuesday of every month, but enrollment is limited. The regular tuition of $8,500 includes a non-refundable fee of $1,000 payable at the time of enrollment. This covers the registration fee, student kit which includes supplies, textbooks and a smock. A student transferring from another school must pay the registration fee, the cost of tuition for the remaining hours needed, plus costs for any supplies necessary for training. Remember, discounted tuition may apply during certain times of the year.

Payment Options
Option 1...........If student pays full tuition amount up front will receive

Payment must be paid in full before student is allowed to graduate.

Criteria for Satisfactory Progress
At the time a student starts school, he or she is considered to be making satisfactory progress. To remain in good standing, a student must do the following:
1. Meet the minimum requirements for Hollywood Barber College attendance policy.
2. Maintain a minimum "C" average in the program of study.
3. Perform make-up work as assigned by the instructor for any classes missed.
4. Maintain proper conduct at all times.
5. Maximum time allowed for program completion is 1-1/2 times the normal time allowed, depending on the program chosen. For example:
Barber/Styling Full-time - 15 months
Barber/Styling Part-time - 18 months

6. Students should be aware that failure to make satisfactory progress can cause interruption or termination of enrollment.
7. A student may not refuse to take a customer assigned to him or her by an instructor.
8. Students shall abide by all state regulations pertaining to sanitation; keeping their stations clean and sanitary and participate in general cleaning.
9. Students may not leave the school premises without permission of an instructor. Without said permission from an instructor may be cause for termination.
10. Excused absences must be approved by the school director or by submission of a signed doctor's statement.
11. Three tardies in a row or in one week (in a five day period) could be just cause for suspension or permanent termination.
12. Students must check in and out on the clock every morning and evening, as well as any time it becomes necessary to leave the premises. Any student checking in or out for another student is subject to immediate termination.
13. Never remove time cards from the school.
14. All patrons who have entered prior to the posted closing time will be served by the assigned student.
15. If you attend the school after completion of hours to obtain additional practice, you will comply with all rules set forth herein.
16. No personal radios or cell phones are allowed at any time.
17. Failure to attend class (theory) regularly and maintain at least a minimum of a "C" average may result in a student being dismissed.
